“M.B.B.S se hatke lovology mein atke” yes! It’s all about our favourite show; Dil Mill Gayye which had a heart breaking episode last night where it was shown that Dr. Riddhima and Dr. Armaan died. But don’t worry viewers; we have good news for you.
A little birdie from the sets informs, “Dr. Riddhima (Jennifer Winget) and Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) are not going to die after yesterdays incident in which both of them met with a horrible accident. The love story will continue but with more turn and twist.”
There was a buzz around that both the actors will be shown dead and that will be the ending point of their love story. Where as the Sanjeevani will be further carried on by the 4 new interns. “No, the buzz is wrong, there won’t be any changes. Both the doctors will be fine after a treatment and the show will continue with the new and old faces,” source quips immediately.
So, dear audience chill out as your favourite tele stars will be at your service to entertain you with their flair.

Mumbai, Dec 31 (IBNS) Jennifer Winget aka Riddhima is back to Star One’s popular romantic medical drama 'Dill Mill Gayye'.

The ardent watchers of the show would remember Dr. Riddhima was not seen in the show after the introduction of the new interns. Before the new interns entered, it was shown that she had to be taken to a bigger hospital with more specialised facilities as she was critical after she had a bullet injury.

Jennifer’s fans wishes have already come true with her reentry. They will enjoy watching the old Dr. Riddhima Gupta in a complete new package. With her stunning appearance and new role her character will touch new dimensions which the fans will have fun to watch.

Jennifer said: “I am happy to be a part of the show again. Dill Mill Gayye was always close to my heart and I am all set to roll once again as Riddhima but with a difference. Now after her come back Riddhima will be seen more balanced and extremely serious person. However, I will not be able to reveal any detail”.

Jennifer has started shooting for the show, and her entry is expected to air on January 1st, 2010.

The day will also witness a high point with Dr. Shashank (Mohnish Behl) facing a major setback to his professional career. For the uninitiated, Yuvi (Sehban Azim) has entered Sanjivini to destroy Shashank, as the senior doctor had earlier paralyzed his brother on the operation table while performing a surgery. He befriends Naina (Neha Jhulka) just to get closer to Shashank and his dream project of opening a new clinic.

Amitabh Raina, Creative Head, Dill Mill Gaye said, “Jennifer will be back to the show on January 1st. Her character will be of a stern senior doctor, who is intensely focused on her work. The show demanded her entry and we will see lot of twist with her come back.”

The show is aimed at the urban educated youth. Set in the backdrop of a hospital it deals with the pressures, the drama, the romance, the interpersonal relationships and humour in the lives of young doctors. It started with the lives of six interns, Armaan, Riddhima, Anjali, Atul, Muskaan and Rahul, tracing their journey from interns to doctors.

Following them was another set of five interns, namely Siddhanth, Tamana, Yuvraj, Naina and JP. Keeping the environment of a hospital in mind, the characters of the show are very real, their issues are believable and the approach to the narrative is dramatic, but never unreal, albeit emotional and fun filled.

It also has the love story of Armaan and Riddhima.

Jennifer Winget aka Dr Riddhima of Dill Mill Gayye is very much gloomy as being linked up with Karan Singh Grover. We called her to know of whether she is planning to return back to the show or not.
“I don’t think so I will return back in the show but cant say! If it is written in the script, than it may be that I may make a come back in DMG,” Jennifer said annoyingly.
When moved further with the chit chat, she quips, “Please, lets not talk about that show but instead of DMG, I would like to speak on my upcoming comedy show ‘Teen Ka Tadka’ were I am really going to be seen in a new avatar and I am happy doing it.”
Well, Jennifer has left us with the questions that, Will Dr. Riddhima (Jennifer Winget) and Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) will make a come back? Or either of the two will be replaced by some another Dr. Armaan or Dr. Riddhima?

Karan: Wish life was like the toon world...colorful, fun, adventures! Like I love Johnny Bravo...."I think he likes me!!!!" Loved his little quirks, like the way he flexes his muscles....hahaha....what a laughter riot! And another one that is right on top of my list is Simpsons! Not only is the show hilarious but the way they tackle some real life issues is amazing! I tell you I can sit down on a day off and watch Simpsons nonstop!

Shradha: Yeah I wish I was a toon too with a channel all to myself I don't have such a long list but my classic favorites are Tom and Jerry! They fight yet they are inseparable! Their chemistry man is out of this world! I get stomach aches laughing while watching Tom N Jerry...Just love em!

Star One’s Dil Mill Gaye fans need not worry as their favorite telestars are not goin’ anywhere!

Today Star One's Dil Mill Gayye will be welcoming four new interns – Karan Wahi, Moulshree Sachdeva, Neha Jhulka and Sehban Azim, keeping in line with the storyline that is taking a six month leap. But fans of the original star cast can now afford to breathe a sigh of relief as the news about them being rooted in the show has been confirmed.

Yesterday's episode indeed left us guessing the existence of Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) and Riddhima(Jennifer Winget) in the show. On one hand Riddhima gets shot by a bullet and on the other hand Armaan falls over a glass table. And going by the Ghajini style climax … it sort of gave us an idea that one of them is going to be no more.

But our source clears the air and says, "Armaan's injuries are not very serious. He will recover soon. It is Riddhima whose condition is critical. So she will be required to be taken to a hospital with more specialized facilities. Armaan will naturally accompany Riddhima along with Dr.Anjali (Sunaina Gulia). It will be during the duration of Riddhima's treatment that Karan, Jennifer and Sunaina will be absent from the show. And this period will be just around 5-10 episodes."

Also Dr. Atul (Pankit Thakkar) is given a strong lesson to mend his kiddish ways. Our source says, "All the interns will graduate to become resident doctors except Dr.Atul. He fails! This sadly leaves him traumatized and the result is an extremely mature Dr. Atul. Now we won't be able to laugh at his stupid questions or silly suggestions."

The leap also shows a propserous marriage for Dr. Kirti (Sonia Singh). According to our source, "Dr. Kirti will be shown six months pregnant. So watch out for that bump in her belly!"

Another interesting turn after DMG's leap is Jia's (Preeti Amin) comeback into Dr. Abhimanyu's (Amit Tandon) life. The last episode itself gave a glimpse into Jia's maniac mind as she is shown with a slit wrist. Our source tells us, "Jia is simply not ready to sign Abhimanyu's divorce papers. This will deeply disturb Nikki (Shweta Gulati) and because of this, Abhimanyu and Nikki's relationship suffers. How they tackle this dilemma and overcome this situation is definitely something to watch out for."

Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget touted as the Shahrukh-Kajol of tellyland, have been reunited thro' Dill Mill Gayye on Star One, much to their fans' delight!

Here is the duo in an exclusive chit-chat with Telly Buzz on the occasion of Dill Mill Gayye celebrating 400 episodes...

Both of you are part of a show which has crossed the 400 episode mark. How does it feel to share the success? Karan: Well it has been a beautiful journey so far. And I really, really hope that we as a team do all that it takes to reach the four digit mark, make it like a 1000 episode success. We have been through a lot of ups and downs but now that we have reached the 400th episode, all sad things seem small and trivial, compared to this awesome moment of success. And all the sweat seems worth it! Jennifer: I feel very fortunate, appreciated and of course, proud. It's genuinely a wonderful feeling to be part of such a loved show. Do you feel your memory loss sequence is a good twist to the story? Karan: Yes, I think it's a good one. The audience is looking for a change and this particular phase is loaded with comical elements and so I'm very sure all the viewers will enjoy it. Which is you memorable episode of DMG? Karan: The first episode where I got to meet new people and had the excitement of doing a new show surging in me. People really love the chemistry between you and Jennifer. Karan: Jennifer has been my good friend since the past five years. So it's only natural that the comfort level turns into great chemistry when we are coupled on-screen. Jennifer: I thank the viewers for accepting us and for all their affection. I think my friendship with Karan is on a whole different level, because even before one of us would complete a sentence we know what the other person is gonna say and most of the time it's the same thing that we've been thinking all along! What are the similarities and differences between Dr. Armaan and Karan? Karan: Both are almost the same. The only difference is that Armaan has grey eyes and I have black. Jennifer: When the show got launched and I saw Karan on TV, I called him up to say, this is such an easy role for you yaar. Isme acting karne ki zaroorat hi kya hai? (Where do you find the need to 'act' in this role?) Karan, how does it feel when you have three different women portraying the role of your lover? Its fun (Laughs). I got to meet three beautiful girls and have shared a great working experience with them. Jennifer, you've been in saas-bahu serials, Shakalaka Boom Boom and now in DMG. Which has been your most enjoyable experience? All the shows have been very different. In Shakalaka I was too young. I don't even remember half the things that happened in that show. Then came the saas-bahu serials and now this. DMG is very breezy, you can say its been easy on me. You didn't answer me, which is your favorite of all? Jennifer: I cant say that! They all have helped me grow. Altogether it's been a learning experience. Will there be a fourth Riddhima? Jennifer: Nope. There won't be a fourth Riddhima. First 'nafrat', then slowly 'pyaar', then one big fight and all that finally leading to what we have today ' Indian Television's "Most Romantic Jodi"! Two amazingly sketched characters portrayed by two of the finest actors in the industry, in one of Indian TV's most popular and loved shows!

The magic of Armaan & Riddhima's love is something anyone would fail to successfully put into words... Their love makes the viewer fall in love, with them and with their love! When they cry, we cry. When they're happy, we're happy. When they're in love, we're in love! And that's why we love them!

Karan & Sukirti Kandpal's chemistry, as Armaan-Riddhima, had left many fans spellbound... Both of them proved to be such amazing actors and it went without saying ' Rab had definitely made this onscreen Jodi... No wonder then, destiny bought them together to be our Armaan-Riddhima (A-R) after Shilpa Anand's pairing with Karan had also been loved while she was on the show as Riddhima... However, everything in life which has a beginning also has an ending and all times, good and bad, come to a close at some point. Sukirti's journey with 'Dill Mill Gayye' ended in April 2009 (prior to which Shilpa Anand, who also played Riddhima, left the show in May 2008) and April 2009 was when it was time for Jennifer Winget to step in as DMG's 3^rd Dr Riddhima Gupta!

What makes "KaJen" (Karan-Jennifer) so special is that their working relationship goes back a long way. They had earlier worked together as a romantic couple in 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' and were very much loved as a couple then also. During the time they spent together shooting KZK, they'd become very close friends. Later, when Karan hosted the reality show 'Zara Nachke Dikha' in 2008, Jennifer happened to be a participant on the show... and now in 2009, we are getting to see the magic of Karan & Jennifer return to our screens once again... and this time they'll be portraying our already much loved characters in love ' Armaan & Riddhima!
